LOS ANGELES
Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel:
We reserved a suite at the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel through Quickbook.com for $140/night. It was an amazing bargain as the regular price for standard room at the hotel start from $250/night. The hotel is located in the center of Hollywood on Hollywood Boulevard. Location is great, right in the middle of everything, especially great nightlife spots. The suite was extremely spacious with an adjacent living room. The bathroom was also very spacious with a tub as well as a separate shower stand. Expensive Kiehl’s products were nice touch. The hotel building is a historical landmark, as the first ever Oscars was held right here. This is a beautiful old b ... Continue

LIV Nightclub:
Some pronounce it “liv”, others pronounce it “54” (LIV - Roman numerals for number 54), we pronounce it Cheesy. From bouncers who eager to open the velvet ropes for absolutely anyone who is willing to shake their hand with an extra green to the décor and to the club’s clientele. We ended up visiting the club during a special night when Paul Oakenfold was performing as a guest DJ. As w ... Continue

Stockholm Nightlife Guide by Baku Sunset

Stockholm nightlife is older, a little more refined, very safe and non-stop. Most bars and clubs are open until 3am but there are always few, which will stay open until 5am, so you can continue your sleepless debauchery. The crowd at night is very dressy. Well, at least female portion of the crowd. So, if you are headed to Stockholm and planning to stay up all night, make sure to pack your flashiest clothing or you wil ... Continue

Los Angeles Review 2009

Los Angeles – drive from San Diego to L.A. is not bad at all. We went on Friday and Sunday. On Fri we left at 12pm and returned at 12am, leaving L.A. at 9:30pm. On Sunday we left at around 10am and came back by 11pm, leaving L.A. by 8:30pm. There was almost no traffic. May be some 20 min of slow moving traffic but overall the traffic was moving at the speed of 70 to 80 miles an hour. It took us 2 1/2 hrs each way. We stopped by Laguna Beach on Friday and Disney Land on Sunday. Los Angeles – drive from San Diego to L.A. is not bad at all. We went on Friday and Sunday. Gemma (on Friday with Swimsuit model show) and Club Nikki (on Saturday) were the best! Gemma is amazing. International/European and Top 40 House Remixes.
SET (on Saturday) - was very good. Very nice interior and crowd. But I prefer music of Club Nikki and Gemma. SET's music was House that was a little too Trance for my taste.
Glass and Forge (on Wednesday) - was the worst experience. Horrible music (Only the beat and no music). Crowd at Glass bar was very mixed with some unusual characters but mostly pretty much boring. Crowd at Forge consisted mostly of older ( ... Continue
